House Fire – 1967

A house was gutted by fire in Young Street, Gympie on Saturday 1 March 1967. The house contained 10 members of the Churchill family who were left with nothing. An appeal was launched through Rotary and the Red Cross on radio station 4GY and the family were helped out.
